Thought I'd revive this interesting thread...

I like beer a lot. I'm a sucker for high-quality beers, in fact. Especially blonde beers.

Mostly Germans (Warsteiner, Augustiner, Erdinger, Franziskaner or Paulaner are my favourites, but also the small regional beers like the Kölsch) and Belgian ones (Leffe especially Triple, Grimbergen, Chimay Bleue, Orval). And of course, I can't forget the fantastic Guiness!! And the Kwak for its so incredible glass...

I like wine, but don't know much about it (despite being French...).

A good whisky is always a pleasure... But my thing is really a good fresh beer!

I have seen this thread before, but why don't have a post in it???

Drink wine most nights. Californian reds, New Zealand/Aussie reds. Cal, Washington, Organ riesling and other sweet whites along with Germany. Some Italian reds.
I love port, but mainly have that on weekends, dad has issues with me drinking it a lot

I don't have beer as much, but I do like a nice mid color lager (Sam Adams)
I do like my gin, mainly have it with tonic, or cranberry juice.
Vodka mixed with something
I do drink other stuff every so often. Margaritias with "Mexican" food.

1st place: lokal red wines - mostly Refosco, Teran, Cabarnet, Merlot, Syrah etc.
2nd place: whiskey - always Jameson, served in a hot glass
3rd place: coctails - always Gin-Tonic, Pina Colada, Margarita, or Cuba Libre

I am a huge sucker for Bourbon and Ginger Ale or Coke.

Other than that its beer for me, either the cheap stuff, or nice German lager.

Oh and after going to Scotland twice, I have fallen in love with Single Malt Scotch from either Islay or Skye. On special nights of course.
