hmm...if thats how starbucks makes fraps then perhaps I should get a patent and then sue those slimey bastards and rake in millions! Afterall I've been making my own "Cold-coffee" since I was 5-6yo!! Patent Infringement!! LOL

Aww shucks...you "killed" Black&Decker? Dang! Ours is still going strong after 2 years but then again we only use it when we have lots of company over at our house...which is like 2-3 times a month.

Wow, you are quite an expert on coffee Car Diva

I am quite café illiterate. Some cafés are quite intimidating places I find, where the staff treat you like they are doing you a favour just to let you be in their 'highly-cultured' presence.

Re: The Caffeine Thread

Yeah, we're all caffeine addicts here. My Nana used to give me lattes as a child ( coffee and LOTS of steamed milk) so I guess it's like comfort food. Plus the caffeine contributes ( at least to my) brain function.

Caffeineted sodas are my second choice. I love Red Bull but can't have it since one of the ingredients has shellfish.. yeah shellfish!!

Check out the art piece made from RED BULL cans

Hey Rob..next time they treat you despectively at a coffee shop just order a

"double macchiato" ( pronounced ma-kia-to), put NO sweetener in it, drink it in one shot and walk out.. that ought to do it!

This is the equivalent of beating up the biggest baddest guy

Why to "stain" the espresso with milk? Triple-espresso plain should be more like it And if they say that they don't have triple espresso then start a scene by complaining with a loud voice and putting them into an embarrasing situation and soon they'll make you one.

hehehe true, true...I can imagine the scene!

I suggested the double macchiato because "snooty" Cafe attendants pretending to be baristas either have no idea of what it is or can't make a decent one!

hehehe, just trust me on this one

ALX, that's for the compliment , they are a pair of Zanotti's, which of course I will rotate to honor the Diva name.

Now if you will pardon me, I'm back to the pool... not to brag but I'm in FL and the water temperature is simple divine.

Can you believe this is a coffee machine? Doesn't it look like a science experiment?
