Officiall: Alfa Romeo 159 Sport Wagon

Very handsome cars, they have the beauty but I wished they had reliability too

not so sure about it, they probably improved it compared to 10 years ago but they have problem during the swedish winter. Our climate is to harsh for it.

These are some really unique looking cars. I can't wait until they come back to the U.S. Maserati has had a successful comeback here so bring on Alfa!

This must be why Volvos and Saabs laugh at bad weather and almost seem to relish it.

no, not true. All cars dont have the same protection like for instance against rust.

Not down here they don't... build quality too isn't up to scratch and nothing rattles like an Alfa still after all these years.

The funny thing is than when it gets cold (that is to say below -25), the only newer cars you see stalled at the side of the road are Italian and French ones... The truth is that those manufacturers often choose to ignore the needs of Northern markets (=beefing up the electric systems & heaters etc.).

One of the Finnish car mags holds an annual winter test where they test the suitability of different cars for use in winter conditions. Usually it's the Germans and the Swedes at the top, followed by the Japanese. The French typically come before the Italians and the Koreans.
