The Miura without any hesitation. It looks absolutely magnificent (and given what recent Lambos have been like, it should be spectacular in other respects as well) while the Ferrari, as good as it may be, does not. Although I feel it's not a fair comparison - it seems the Miura's going to be much more powerful and expensive than the Ferrari.

Re: ferrari 600

Hmmm, I'm not so sure Mike, I reckon the Ferrari has some big power there...

Moreover, I don't think the Miura will make production (I hope) as something's niggling me about Lambo trying to resurrect the Miura with such a retro bodyshell - too Ford GT / GT40 type mentality for me. Supercar design needs to move on and despite the original cars undoubted beauty, the Miura needs to be a more modern interpretation of the concept rather than the actual original design.

I'll take the Ferrari - by a fair margin.

Re: ferrari 600

Thanks Rob, i thought mansory was an english tuner but it is german.
Dominix, i don't say these cars are ugly but transformations just don't suit them, DB9 beauty came IMO from its simplicity and supercharging it with all these details destroy its design spirit. Does someone have some pics that show mansory cars in other colors ??

Re: ferrari 600

Yeah, as much as I'm a non-fan of Ferrari (though I give them respect, I often have a dislike of anything that is so popularly liked by the uninformed masses, and let's leave any mention of Formula 1 out of this, too), I prefer the 599 over the Miura (and let's not turn this into another flame war, either).

The Miura is an unashamed throwback to a past era - why did they have to do it? Lamborghini have had a great deal of success by moving forward. This retro design makes them lose a lot of respect from me. Nothing about the car itself, but just that it's so retro.

As much as I have mentioned a few niggles about the Ferrari's design, they gain respect at least by making a new design. Imagine if they presented a smoothed over 288GTO? It'd probably look great, but it'd be a crying shame. Supercar design should be about innovation and technology taking precedence over nostalgia about past success, IMO. Form follows function, IMO, in this market segment.

Let's not get into actual performance, either. The Miura is just a concept, so we have no idea about performance. The 599 shouldn't be too shabby, either.

Well I'm not a fan of the Continenatal GT anyway - I chose that picture because it was different from any Bentley I had seen before - I hate those rims, but I thought it looked okay in white.

You don't like the GT? hmmm... Personally I like it a lot, much more so than the FS. The rims look horrid and check out the sideskirt. A Bentley GT should be left bone stock IMO.
