![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Autoexpress test drive Ford Mondeo It doesn't look that ugly right? i think the car looks good in general, the rear end might look a little strange, but it doesn't look boring. The interior looks very ugly though, all the random shapes just doesn't match up. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Autoexpress test drive Ford Mondeo I have heard nothing but good things about the new Mondeo, it's really impressive from the outside. It's something I'd never expect Ford to do but they did it. To put icing on the cake, the touring version looks so great, with the rear sorted out and looking more cohesive than the sedan. The 2.5 turbo is a sweet engine too. Pity about the interior, then, that looks like a roundish product off a Chinese production line. Some details like the huge LCD among the instrumentation looks great though, and you've got to give them credit for having blinds at the rear, I don't think the Passat has that even. BTW monster, in the Mondeo sedan it looks like the wiper is mounted on the boot too! I solved it... In the Brilliance coupé, the boot must open together with the rear windscreen like a hatch. ![]() |

Does anyone have a photo of the rear end of a Mondeo sedan, cause the hatch and the sedan version look so similar. I will have a closer look at the Brilliance coupe now and see if it is a hatch back. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Autoexpress test drive Ford Mondeo I'm sure the new Mondeo is a great car, in fact, the Mondeo has always been a good car, there has never been a "bad" Mondeo. It's just such a shame it'll be overlooked by many badge snobs who prefer to buy a pathetically slow BMW with a poverty equipment and small wheels. |
