| So my aunt had Christmas dinner out at her house tonight and the whole family came over. One of my cousins showed up who has been looking to get a new car for sometime, she's worked hard in school, has since graduated and is doing very well. Anyways, she sat down, we chit chatted and she told me she had a surprise sitting in the driveway out in front of the house. So I went out and low and behold there was a Black '07 E350 sedan w/ 18" Brabus Monoblock VI's completely debaged (model designation only). So as you can see, it looks pretty darn nice!!! She was also cool enough to let me drive it, so I hoped behind the wheel in those big comfy seats and popped the key in the ignition. First thing I notice was how freak'n quite this thing is when you turn it on, almost like a Lexus. I Took it around the block and out on the street, never really pressed it out of respect for her achievement in obtaining such a beautiful and well made car. To say the least I was extremely impressed by the cars handling, the way it negotiates corners is very fluid and secure. It was fun to drive, not like a Bimmer w/ loads of feel coming through the helm, but classy-comfy MB style. Even w/ 18" low profile tires the ride was still Benz smooth too. She said she might be looking at the 08' C-class when it comes out for the sake of having something slightly more fun to drive, or wait for the 09' E-class if this car proves to be a good experience.. ![]() |

| Re: Drove an '07 E350 tonight!!! Wow, how come I only spotted this now!? ![]() Good review, to the point. I agree that the E-Class is fun to drive in its own way. I myself was blown away when I was able to drive the new E280 CDI E-Class (facelifted version). Wow, MB really did their homework and reworked the car bigtime. The new E-Class feels better in every aspect than our 2002 E320 Avantgarde. ![]() Last edited by cawimmer430; 12-28-2006 at 08:09 PM. |
