Favorite E-Class?

Vote for your favorite E-Class!

W120/W121 1953-1962 "Ponton"

W110: 1959-1968

W114/W115: 1967-1976

W123: 1976-1985

W124: 1985-1996

W210: 1996-2002

W211: 2002-200X

My vote goes to the W123. IMO, perhaps the best Mercedes' ever built. I'd be happy with every model, from a 55-hp 200D to a 185-hp 280E. The car is overflowing with charisma and when you open and close the doors....oh don't even get me started!

Well I'm torn because as many of you know I love the W124, but I'm completely smitten with the W211 also, but for now I'll still go with the W124 because of its superior reputation relative to that of the W211 so far.

Plus there is no true successor to the E500 or E320 Coupe and Cabriolet in the W211 lineup. You have the spectacular E63 and now the CLK range, nice, brilliant even in the case of the E63, but that "specialness" isn't there like it was with the E500 and 2-door E320 models.
