Da müssen selbst die Schwaben passen. Dennoch bleibt der Mercedes ein vorzüglicher Wagen, der nicht nur durch seinen kräftigen Motor gefällt. Ausgesprochen gut schneidet der Jaguar ab. Dem sportlichen Engländer wurde viel Feinarbeit zuteil. Er empfiehlt sich für alle, die es gerne etwas enger geschnitten haben. Der Chrysler 300 C ist das Gegenteil dazu. Keine Frage: Er leistet sich einige Schwächen. Dafür bietet er ein Fahrgefühl, das so amerikanisch ist, dass man sich den Urlaub in den USA fast schenken kann. Im Citroën C6 dürfen sich die Passagiere dagegen wie Gott in Frankreich fühlen.

BTW, the E-Class tested here was a CLASSIC trim level version. Base trim used by taxi and police fleets. I guess this played a role in the E-Class loosing out.

Even if E was with POOR trim level version (lol), i'd go for it over any French car. Citroen better than Merc? Yeah right!

Now I know that the diesels are quite better than the petrols in Citroen's case, but to beat a Merc.
The comfort, well if my history serves me well the DS-es were more comfortable than Mercedes, and safer in some ways, that is why MB incorporated Citroen's hydropneumatic suspension, but today MB losing to Citroen seems like BS.
