A car that is distinctive and different. Nice to know that this time it can actually compete with the Germans on a more objective level as well. |

All the reviews I've read so far have been (cautiously) favorable. The biggest problem with Citroën is the reputation it gained in the 80's and 90's and not as much the cars themselves. |

![]() | Re: E-Class looses to...a CITROEN! I consider myself a French car fan, not necessarily a Citroen fan, but I really doubt whether a C6 is really better than a Mercedes Benz. Of course, I don't think too highly of MB quality these days. The C6 looks like the older 1970s pre-Peugeot takeover Citroen cars. The CX is considered the last real Citroen. I considered a Citroen C6 to replace my relative's Mercedes C320, but the inconvenient location of the dealership and historically poor reliability of the marque especially turned me away. French cars are known to rust, rust and did I mention rust? If anyone has seen pictures of older Peugeots or Citroens or even Renaults, sometimes the wheels sit tilted at an angle (due to rotting of suspension components) and they look like a race car running negative camber. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: E-Class looses to...a CITROEN! i also think the the CX is the last real citroen. I don't like the current lineup. As for the maintainance cost, i do know nothing about it, but i know that my clio (which is very old though) costs me a lot. I liked french cars sometime ago. |

So Giannis, could the C6 replace the CX in your eyes? The depreciation must be awful just like all the other Citroens. A relatively new XM can be bought for a few thousand Euros. | |

![]() | Re: E-Class looses to...a CITROEN! Speaking on the rust issue I also want to mention that Honda/Acura are known to rust quite bad. And I'm shocked about this result. |
