Mercedes-Benz (E-Class) Safety Put to the Test

Courtesy of MBWorld member "foofighter", a horric crash of a brand new 2007 E350.

Quote:
A friend/ex-coworker did this to his E350. It was a combination of alcohol and speed on a narrow road resulted in this little mishap. THANK GOD no one was killed…a couple of the occupants sustained some non-life threatening injuries but were glad that they were able to “walk” away from this accident. I guess I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves as words truly escapes me.

What did he hit you ask? A parked Saab:

Re: Mercedes-Benz (E-Class) Safety Put to the Test

wow, the Saab was folded in half !! The E-class driver is very lucky not to hit a pole or a tree. The impact speed must be very high, but the E-class wasn't significantly damaged in a way that when looking from the outside, you can tell the passangers have survived the crash. I am not surprised by this because every time i am inside our E350, the car feels unbreakable.

This makes me feel a lot safer.

Damn that E-Class got damaged pretty badly. The Saab fared far worse! Damn!

the speed must be very high since the car must have rolled many times. Just look the damage in the front and then the damage in the rear left part and right doors!
