I would prefer a more classical design design for the E class... i dont like the sqaured off lexus headlights i prefer the more cohesive round quad lights... the photoshop rear looks extremely fat.. although im quite sure it will look nothing like that... I just hope it keeps the general shape as it looks brilliant but adds modern touches like the sweeping shoulder line, LEDS, a sharper more dynamic grille and a interior overhual.

the BMW 5 series has the sport covered.. Mercedes needs to maintain its luxury pedgree.. something i feel the current designs have lost bar the CL class... the 3 point star is the epitome of luxury driving... i hope they keep it that way

If thats what it really will look like, I will have to find another car to buy in 2010. Its an ok design, but certainly nothing that says wow. It looks like just another run of the mill japanese "safe" car design, with a Mercedes grill thrown on the front.

We have this discussion before, somewhere in this thread, or in another thread about this. Lexus originally copied the 4 eye look from the 1995 E-class, and as Mercedes evolve their design, Lexus took on a simlar design direction. Now MB is being accused of copying a Lexus or, designing a run of the mill japanese car
