.. or hold on mabye they cant be called fogs..but there is a LED strip down there

Well, they didn't exactly set their mark with the current E. A car with such distinctive front-end styling really deserves a distinctive rear-end to go with it.

The PS we've seen isn't awful per se, but on the other hand, looks like many, many other cars. It's not like Mercedes needs to come up with something gobsmacking brilliant here, but the car at least shouldn't look like other cars from the back.

This car may replace our A6. I hope it doesn't bring the low quality feeling as the C-Class.

If this is truly the rear...than WOW. that's hot. It's kind of A6 and Lexus GS-ish but I really love it. I hope it looks like this, if not better.

I don't know what you guys are looking at because I see an enlarged C-Class with Lexus GS headlamps, can't stand it. It surely isn't the best looking Mercedes ever, not even close.

In my defense, I haven't said anything about the front. I only talked about the rear.

I really hope thats not it... the E class is luxury inc... its classical design demands attention not through "flame surfacing" but genuine design and classical proportions

The grille and head lights are my personal favourite of any mercedes benz.. E500 in silver with 19 inch rims is the epitome of luxurious design! even more so then the S class

My honest opinion of course

As for the design of this E. Well we don't even know if it will in fact look like this, but the design is consistent with what MB designers have been doing recently.
