Oh, those people. I was surprised many of anti-globalization activists came from wealthy families, using their trust-funds to fight against the same system & movement (capitalism, globalization) which had given them that money. How ironic. ![]() **** Btw, did you know the biggest Obama supporters are the hedge funds. ![]() What a money can buy? A president!

All presidential candidates are backed up by lobbyists representing various corporations and industries. They are the guys packing dollars which can get your campaign steam rolling. |

But Obama is all against Washington old politics, lobbies & special interests. That's his main campaign mantra. ![]() So his campaign is - like I said- all empty words & BS. BS we can believe in. Yes we can! Yes we can! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But in the end people will eventually feel better being screwed by a charming & charismatic freshman Obama, and not by Papa-zombie McCain, or Old Blond Bitch-Witch Hillary. And Obama Girl will be able to release a new single titled "Screwed by Obama" Chorus: "Oh, Mama! I have been screwed by Obama. Oh, my sweet Mama. Screwed by Obama. A member of Alfa-Delta-Gamma. Obama. So much it hurts. Oh, Mama! FU Obama!" ![]() ![]()

So.........is he that "I hate capitalism"-kind of guy? If he has claimed that he's not old school then why the heck are companies feeding his campaign with money? |

![]() And I can answer it: he is bluffing & screwing up with people's minds & hearts. He is a typical politician - a great manipulator. The only thing is eg. Hillary is so transparent doing that, while he can spin the whole thing in his favour.

Officially. But ... If Bill Gates give you money ... Is that money from him personally, or he is lobbying for Microsoft. If Steve Jobs give you money - is that his money, or is he lobbying for Apple. And under "Individual contributors" there are many people directly & indirectly linked to businesses & special interests: corporate lawyers, Management Board members, Supervisory Board members, individual lobbies ("links") etc. Of course today no political subject does no take money directly form a company, or other interested organization. There are many fine ways available to make the transfer less transparent. That's how lobbies work, and that's what Obama says he will fight against. ![]() OK, yes - is Obama a better choice than Hillary or McCain? Probably. But he ain't an angel - definitely not an angel he portraits it.

There ought to be fewer of those giddy, starry-eyed, first-time voters once the Democratic primary ends, unless the Obama "movement" keeps gaining at his pace. Of course I have been wrong about everything in this election, so what do I know . . . What about running mates? Who should the nominees pick as Veep?

Clintons may be sleazy but they master the high-politics. So, I found this a warning / advice from Clintons to Obama very interesting: "Live by Oprafied politics, die by Oprafied politics." Words will lift you high, words will push you down. Just like media created you, media will destroy you. It's only matter of time. You can't run on intangible stuff forever. Dems are playing a dangerous & a very risky game here with Obama. Quote:
Condi Rice, and Hillary Clinton. ![]() ![]() I want to see dirty b.i.t.c.h fight. ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() | Re: Obama phenomenon / fashion / hysteria? Yeah, that advice is really pretty sound. However, most people are too blinded by rhetoric and media glitz to listen. I have read several times that Condi Rice as Veep could be the savior for the party, if they want to take back the W.H. She is very popular with Republicans and (obviously) an African-American woman. She could sap some support from both Obama's and Clinton's strongest support groups. |
