Special collectors pens

I love really beautiful pens and these would be some of the finest available in the world. These are all limited Editions.

Each one is a small piece of fantasy ....some are extravagant and outrageous.

(Below left) "HK 1997" by Caran d'Ache. Created to commemorate the return of Hong Kong to Chinese sovereignty in 1997. It is made from gold-plated brass and genuine Chinese lacquer.

(Above Middle) "Matterhorn" by Caran d'Ache. The pen's body and cap are made of brass lacquered in anthracite grey, reminiscent of the colour of rock. Two ornaments in rhodium-coated solid silver adorn the pen's body and cap.
(Above Right) "Harmony" by Caran d'Ache. A Feng Shui expert worked with Caran d'Ache to create the Harmony limited edition.

(Below Left) "La Modernista Diamonds" by Caran d'Ache. A tribute to the Catalonian architect Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926). The pen, made of rhodium-coated solid silver components, has an 18-carat gold nib, also rhodium-coated. It is covered with 5072 full-cut Top Wesselton VS diamonds totalling 20 carats. 96 half-cut rubies (0.32 carats) are arranged on top of the cap, forming the «CdA» monogram.

(Above Middle) "Ivanhoe Gold" by Caran d'Ache owes its name to its body clothed in a gold “coat of mail”, recalling the time of the knights. The body is in 18 carats solid yellow gold and can be set with diamonds or other precious stones.
(Above Right) "Gotica Jewel", a Gothic-inspired fountain pen by Caran d'Ache set with diamonds and gemstones.

(Above Left) "St George" by Omas depicts St. George killing the dragon. The scene of the injuring of the dragon decorates the barrel, enamel on silver. The sword-shaped clip is symbolic and also recalls, however, a medieval sword, embellished with a ruby.
(Above Right) ""Invisibilis" by Omas. This beautiful pen is made of sterling Silver with engraving filled with blue enamel.

"Krug by Omas" is a fountain pen using wood from the small oak wood barrels in which Krug prepares his fine wine.

"Hanakui Oshidori" (Mandarin Ducks) by Conway Stewart.

Conway Stewart is working with many highly praised and recognized Maki-e artists for its 2006 collection.
Hanakui Oshidori is the third pen in the spring collection crafted by the renowned artisan, Mr. Koichiro Okazaki.

Mr. Koichiro Okazaki's work name is Kogaku-san. His work is painted freehand without any outline of design or silk screen process. While 90% of currently produced Maki-e artwork utilizes man-made Urushi lacquer, Kogaku san uses only 100% natural Urushi lacquer, collected by hand from Urushi trees.
This is truly a piece of fine art.

Soka Monyo, Floral Design by Conway Stewart. Each piece carries Kogaku-san's signature, and the coveted Red Seal signature signifying the highest level of Maki-e art.

"Starwalker Special Edition" by Mont Blanc is made from precious black resins with platinum rings and clip. A diamond in the shape of the Mont Blanc signet floats in a transparent dome on the pens cap. Re: Special collectors pens

I love pens, maybe not as much as you, but I love them.

The one that I truly love up there is the Krug by Omas and would like to know how limited this pen is and if it could be found how much?

Re: Special collectors pens

Yeah they are beautiful dOmInIX ....I would love to own one of the Conway Stewart pens ...but I doubt I would ever actually use it very much and they are obviously very expensive.

Yeah Mike, that Krug by Omas pen is really desirable ...I wouldn't mind owning that one

Roberto, I think there is a space missing in this sentence.

My favourites are the Starwalker and Copernicus ones.

I am sorry shonguiz, I do not have details about prices but the first Mont Blanc pen is not as valuable as the others shown -- maybe around $600US dollars. The prices of these types of pens varies a lot, from a few hundred dollars to literally tens of thousands.
