Their laptop screens are top notch and judging by the looks of that sexy screen I can only assume that it has the picture quailty you would expect from Sony. One question though, why don't you buy a wide screen monitor? I'm currently sitting on my laptop which is has a 17 inch 16:10 screen. Ever since I bought it I have absolutley no problems with large resolution pictures and barely ever need to scroll side ways. I prefer it over my 19 inch CRT montior which is hooked up to my desktop. |

Just consider that there's a very limited amount of LED OEMs, and Samsung is one of them. They've invested an incredible amount of capital into becoming a dominant force in LCD production, so you're reaping a good amount of somebody else's sweat when you buy one of their screens. |
