I have 2 GB and it works great.

Sure, I am happy with change, I am bored with using Windows, want to try something news.

Until now, most applications run fine, but need sometime to get use to them, the photoshop is same as the PC, so no problem. but MS Office is a bit different, like all the short cut, menu layout, etc... and the Office 2004 is still an old version which is writen for PowerPC not the intel.

Also Mac don't have a "good" latest MSN live supported client (with WebCam support).

nowadays, i mainly use the laptop for word processing, photo editing, and broswering. So, so far so good...

Something new will coming from Apple for a month or two, like new OS, new notebook... so you can wait...

I'm still running the Beta verison on my laptop and it's pretty good. Some cool new features but nothing too drastic.

When it's time to replace my laptop, I think I'm going to get a Tablet. Those things are so sweet, very useful when you are in engineering.

I have spent some serious time with the tablets and im not really impressed. My whole high school has the toshiba tablets besides me and my mac and there cool but i just dont like them. I would fool around with it and then see how it works for you, who knows you may love them.

Why weren't you impressed? Do you prefer Macs? See I'm defintiely a PC guy, and tables do everything regular laptops do but much more. The thing is though, I would actually use the tablet to take notes in class and do homework in. My friend's got one and it made him a whole hell of a lot more productive. Until then, my laptop is working just fine.
