Common misconception. If you get a right-click mouse (like Logitec) that works with Mac, you can set it up to Apple-click stuff, just you're used to. Apple-clicking is the Mac equivalent of right clicking. And frankly, I don't much miss right clicking. It was odd at first, but I got used to Apple-clicking very quickly

Re: Mac or Windows?

Windows, since SP2 finally I'm happy.
I might forgive MS one day for the torture of the ME.

also, when you use a mac, there's no use for the right-click function, so you won't ever miss it. and there's something else you can do, i think if you put two fingers on the touchpad (of a mac notebook) and click, it's the same as right click

Re: Mac or Windows?

Apple's two button mouse has been around for a while. It comes standard now.

I have one, but I disabled the 2nd button feature. The scroll ball, on the other hand, is excellent.

Re: Mac or Windows?

I use windows and I'm never going to switch to a mac. Even though my windows machine has crashed on a me a several times but so has the Mac G5 i used to use at my college. Everyone talks about reliability of the Mac, but I'm sorry when you crash something that all the Mac geeks were praising as God in a machine you just loose faith. With the PC my system has only crashed before XP sp1 came out and after that it has never crashed on me unless I did something stupid (like overclocking to max...LOL). The other reason I will never switch is because I love building my own computer and upgrading whenever I feel like it, not to mention I love computer games!!!

If I do ever decide to leave window, it won't be for a mac, it will probably be for Linux.

Re: Mac or Windows?

If anyone says that they're computer never crashes, they're just lucky... No computer doesn't crash, there's always going to be something that's gonna make the OS wig out...

If they say the OS never crashes, then they're just being fanboys or really optimistic
