Brakes on M cars dont fade on public roads but they have a tendency to fade on a track after a couple of laps on a track (but so does many cars that goes around a track). Ceramic brakes arent even an option for M cars.

But if you wanna brag about a M cars track capabilitys, then brakes should not fade.. and there is always room for improvement..so mark my words that the next M car will have killer brakes..no doubt.. |

![]() ![]() | Re: [scans]: EVO drive CLK 63 Whats their response? Why are they not using better brakes? One of the reasons for reducing the number of callipers would be weight right? But why have they failed to explore ceramics etc. to produce brakes as good as porsche? It seems perculiar since the rest of the car seems to be engineered to the nth degree. |

I agree. I think I'll have to go get this issue too, seems to be a MB fest, just like the July issue of Automobile Magazine. M
