I agree with you PG. I think that the V12 should be reserved for the 760i and Li.

Re: CLK63 to eat M6????

Yeah I like the idea of a V10 in a car like the M models from BMW. A V12 would be too heavy I think a M5/6. Now in a M7..........

They can be found in pickup trucks. I think they were in trucks even before the Viper debuted the worlds first V10 in a car.

Re: CLK63 to eat M6????

if CLK63 is faster than M6 in straightline then its faster than E63/CLS63 as well. I doubt AMG is making CLK63 faster than those. The driving experience will be sportier and the car more fun to drive. Also it will beat a CLS63 around a track but loose in acceleration.

PS, I sat in the CLK63 yesterday and the interior quality isnt as nice as I thought it would be, some details details looks cheap but the design from the outside is beautiful.

.
I dont agree with you just me , the E63 and CLS 63 both will be quicker than the CLK 63 atleast after 60mph , on the other hand all three AMG 63s will be quicker than the M6 . That doesnt sound nice , but it's true and we will see this in upcoming comparisons . We both know that the 6.3s has the advantages the M6 had over CLS55 , now we are talking about high revvers , high displacement and lots of more torque . The only advantage the M6 has is the 2 extra cylinders , well Ill tell u this much just_me :GOOD LUCK with that . Moreover , we all know how quick MB's 7GTRONIC functions , imagine what happens when AMG modifies that master peace .

Again I disagree , nothing wrong with the CLK's interior in either quality , materials , and design . Nothing new to the eye I agree , but nothing is wrong with that . besides , atleast the instrument cluster is different .

Anyone else find this statement weird?

I severly doubt the M Division will go onto turbo'ing their engines.

Anyway. Overall, no, the CLK63 AMG will not 'eat' the M6, but I sure as heck know that I'd take a CLK over an M6.
