thanks 7.3 AMG.

Given the average age of a CL buyer, or a CL AMG buyer, they are unlikely to powerside their way home from work, plus they probably have other weekend driving toys in their garage anyway.The TC are there so Mercedes can keep their customers alive and buy more AMGs in the future
