yeap, they are doing it intentionaly so you are forced to buy extra rims.....

This car looks so good, it`s just Fablous! MB really did a wonderful job with design work here! I have to say the same for the S550 now that I`ve seen it in the metal with the sport package, my that car is so awesome. I didn`t think I would like it more than the W220 but it is indeed much better with twice the presence!

I would say that MB is officially on a roll styling wise with the CLS, FL SL & E, S, and now this new CL. Not hard to see why they're sales are reaching new heights every month now. The CL will easily top the projected 10,000 sales in the first year.

I'd agree with that for the most part Merc1, but it kind of looks like they may have run out of some steam with the W204. It seems they always get the big cars right and the smaller cars... well, not so right. Vice versa w/ BMW.

We'll have to see. I always panic when I see the spy photos, but when the production car is shown, it is usually stunning. The S and CL both worried the hell out of me for months...lol! I don't think the C's look will be a point of concern. The C needs S-Class level quality and reliability (so far) and sportier handling.

It's so nice to finally see some "real world" pictures. The quality of the pictures may not be of brochure caliber, but there is just something about seeing the vehicle outside of the magazine pictures. It's interesting here, because I think the CL does have a different look than we have seen before. Obviously the same car, just a different look.

Regarding the "weird grille", I'm wondering if it isn't due to a shadow. The MB emblem does appear to be of the Distronic2 size and style, though.
