Rear foglight is a very bright red light which is used during fog/rain/snowfall to make your car easier to spot for the people driving behind you. It's mandatory equipment in Europe, but many people have no idea that it's even there in their cars...

I agree Alex ...it looks very good ....it had to be, the Bentley's interior is [as you already know] exquisite. This new CL has "stepped up" and matched the Bentley .... I like the CL's interior more than the Bentley's ...but that's a matter of personal preference I guess.

...I was wondering where you got to Marcus ...welcome back.

I am surprised you missed my gushing comments in the old thread Marcus. Here is a small sample of comments I made in the old thread.

.... this is a magnificent effort from the Mercedes designers.

Re: In detail, New CL Class (Thread 5 Cont'd)

Yeah I saw that, but I don't know what to think of it. I serisouly doubt there will be a S-Class cabriolet as in a 4-door convertible, but there may be a Maybach Cabrio of some type of a CL Cabrio I guess, but I can't see the S-Class without its top. That would be a huge mistake IMO.

I actually peeked in a few days ago, but the thread was multiplying by the hour with all types of nonsense so I decided not to bother with it until I got by to my high-speed connection. The hate was remarkable.

Thank you for re-posting your comments. I agree the car is an instant winner in my eyes also. Mercedes is no officially on a roll as far as I'm concerned. Next up the C and then the CLK and then a new E and SL. The next 2-3 years is going to be something. The grille on this new CL really does hark back to the old SEC Coupe, a brilliant touch IMO.

Re: In detail, New CL Class (Thread 5 Cont'd)

It must be said for me that it has been a while since I fell instantly in love with a new Mercedes, because the new S and CLS were not the best looking things in the usual DCX press shots, but this CL is just oh my I don't know what to say....I love it.

The interior is a work of art. Mercedes probably put as much cost and thought into the interior as they did the exterior. Its just beautiful.

I love it too Marcus ...but I have to confess ..I have been unfaithful ...I also am currently in love with the BMW M6 convertible and the Porsche 911 Turbo -- all three of these cars are fighting it out to be my current desktop image.
