looks like they're losing the wrap arround rear window



just like on the CLS I like the side and front ( although there is some mazda going on there imo ) but I don't like the banana rear sloping thing

Your right about the rear window. That affect was caused by the tapered C-Pillar, an MB first.

The "banana" sloping though rear is part of the design affect that should be look at as a whole. It brings the design to an elegant conclusion.




That aside I think we might be looking at a larger CL this time. The new S-Class has grown in all directions, I believe we can expect the same for the new CL over the currant one. The front looks like it has more presence with it`s much wider grill design!

When you put the new and old model together like that, the new one has a lot more presence than the old one! Makes it look small and a nothing!
