Who knew ten years ago that the Ford Taurus was such a great design! The current XK stole its grill and if I remember correctly when the latest E class was released people said it looked like a Taurus and now the CL!

I can't beleive people don't see Ford as such a great design house and give the credit where it is due!

It's you, trust me...you can't just discredit a design by putting a similar pic in front of it...this way, every car will be a copy of a copy of a copy of the original one-cylinder Benz...

well its not just me, and design has nothing to do with the one cylinder benz
no basing intended, but look at the wrap around rear lights, over all form, over all boot form
their are mroe than passing hints

I could show you even more similar designs...but it does not mean that the CL's influenced by those designs....As Bangle says, it's is in fact good to be influenced by better designs...Tarus was a fantastic design in its time...the other day, in some other forum, some dude was sayin how the current ML is a copy of Kia's SUV...

whwn we are talkin about ford designs..compare the front and the fenders of the mondeo with the W221 sclass..there is some similaritys there to

..
but its not a bad thing imo.. cause the benz often ends up looking pretty diffrent and about 1.34 million times better

Trying to compare this to a 3 coupe? Please. This is Bentley coupe type proportions, which are supposed to be fat.
