The current car is arguably his best work apart from the W124 and R129 models. This CL is going to look pretty much like a larger CLK, not a bad thing, but nothing stunning either. M |

IMO the cl is gonna look very atractive IRL just like the cls especially with AMG kit ,,, its gonna be wider and a bit longer than the current cl ,,, but dont u guys think its still earlly to judge how it looks i think u guys should wait and see until its produced ... The dashboard of the CLS is subtly reminiscent of the 280SE/300SE coupe from the 1970's (the predecessor of the CL), especially the large pointed-elipse wood element - even the radio controls have been stylized to vaguely resemble the old Becker radio. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Hypersonic; 10-04-2005 at 01:32 AM.. |

The CLK350 looks better and the CLK500 better still, but they aren't in the same league as the CL500 was when it appeared in 2000 and a CL in AMG wear is still Mercedes design perfection. Only the new CLS looks as good or any better, of course all IMO. I have yet to see the new S in person. M | |
