It really has crossed my mind, especially after that crazy video that was posted here in the cold wet conditions. Im easy going, it depends which way the wind blows that day. Im very car crazy, and whatever i wake up with on my mind i just get.... The new Porsche is by ALL MEANS an option!!! And pretty much top of the list... thing is it might be too new to purchase once its out, and im not paying a premium. Dont forget im out of my car by this time next year... |

![]() | Re: 2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued. Well you have plenty of time to think about it! The Bently is a nice car, I would consider it. You really know the CL though so stepping up to a 65 souldn`t be a problem either. Only thing is you might not be able to drive it in the snow. At least the Bently has AWD, that might be a little advantage I would think. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued. MAJOR adavantage..... I spun out 3 times in the past snow storm a few months ago.... It wasnt fun.... but i had no choice i got stuck in the storm coming home from NYC. I would NEVER drive my CL55 in the snow let alone the 65. Too risky, and too costly to destroy. Besides i got my FX at home, so now i check the forecast first. ![]() |

![]() | Re: 2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued. Yep, you know the 65s wouldn`t be any better. The Bentley is so nice I don`t think I would drive that in the snow either. Well maby light snow. I`d get a small Japanese car for snowfalls. Something thats not expensive or too large. Anyway best of luck and keep us informed. |

I will and i am heavily pushing towards the Bentley GT, i have a 2005 FX35 Sport/Touring. and i take a demo from work, pretty much whatever i want that day. So at any given time i have 3 cars and a race bike too choose from.... Its just that the day i got stuck in the snowstorm i was coming in from NY and had no choice but to get home. Only reason i was thinking about the SL65 was the body kit which i like. As for power my CL55 is plenty. Pretty much just about 550hp is above my means for the road regardless.... like i said before at one point i run out of room anyways. |

![]() | Re: 2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued. Oh man, I remember you mentioning that FX35 (a while back) thats a nice suv. Must be nice to have the toys you like. SL65 vs. Bently CGT, that wouldn`t be a tough choice for me. I love the SL65!!! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 2007 CL Class Thread 2 continued. These newest pics are promising, but not even comparing it to the Bentley yet. The Bentley looks like a giant VW to me, and it has about all the elegance of a shortened box-car to me. The only reason it is hot is because of the price and the fact that it is a two door, something Bentley hasn't had in the semi-affordable price range ever. The current CL looks way better than the Bentley ever will. The Bentley is a big ole whale of a car with very little if any real "style" to it. An Aston-Martin DB9 slaughters it outright in the style department, but the bling-bling crowd is sophisticated enough for Aston-Martin, yet. M |
