That is a really, really low figure. They must have done a lot of highway driving.

Could be. But then again, MB could also have overinflated their fuel economy figures for legal reasons.

For example, Mercedes said that our E320 (224-hp V6) will need around 12 L / 100 km. However, in the mix, we regularly get around 8.2 L - 9.3 L / 100 km and this includes driving sporty.
