![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | D50 and D70s no longer with Nikon I just checked and it seems that Nikon has removed the D50 and D70s from the Nikonusa.com website. This seems to now make the DSLR selection complete. Now we have the following: D40 D40X D80 D200 D2Xs and D2Hs now the lineup makes sense. So, if some of the speculation on Nikon is correct, a D3 may come around and do away with the D2Xs and D2Hs making the line: D40 D40X D80 D200 D3 |

However, it is only at 4.1 megapixels at this moment. I am sure myself and other Nikon owners are hoping that Nikon has been testing a new D3(h, X) body in order to raise those megapixels. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: D50 and D70s no longer with Nikon I don't think anyone knows yet. Many believe that it will be a Sony sensor, but then again Nikon may surprise, which I doubt. Nikon is not big enough to make their own sensors, although they design them at times and know how to incorporate them very well into cameras like that of the D40x and D80. |
