OH NO!!! Can it be possible!!! Does Nikon have an answer?

Rumors have not only begun to surface but threads and actual website such as reputable Nikonians.org is responding to this possible rumor being true. I noticed today that Nikonians.org changed there forum heading adding D3. This means that a D3 may be close and even announced at PMA.

I surely hope they do because as it is right now the Mark III kills the already successful D2Hs, which alone is a great camera put it stuck at 4.1 megapixels.

I can't wait.

I thought at first they were talking about a D3X which would be awesome but I don't think Nikon is ready to come out with such a camera since they recently added stuff to the D2X naming it the D2Xs.

Yea, these are cameras that the pro's use or someone that is really into photography. Nice though.

There has been a lot of speculation and rumors circulating the arrival of a new Nikon DSLR. First, we were told that the D3 would be coming and that changed to D3h, D3X, and finally D3. However, today Ken Rockwell said that Nikon is introducing the D40x which is a 10.1 or 10.2 MP camera. I don't know what is going on with all of this speculation, but apparently I read at Dpreview that Canon has yet to release pricing on the Mark III because it seems they are waiting to see what Nikon does.

All of today, March 5th 2007, people waited for an announcement from Nikon. Now we are being told that tomorrow the 6th of March is when the DSLR will be introduced.

There is no concrete evidence with the exception that Nikon has already officially discontinued the D2Hs indicating that something is coming.
