Homologation rules is why they existed in street legal form.

If we're talking about track performance, anything besides open wheelers (F1, Champ Car) and/or LM sport-prototypes are utter crap.

There is a difference between race cars having aerodynamic elements for functional reasons and road cars having the same elements to make it look like a race car with out the functional benefits - some use the term "rice car" to describe a car when it has a lot these non functional elements (cause the asian crowd usually tends to over do it more than others). Most M, RS and recent AMG cars have some of these non functional elements to give the consumer the idea that it is related to a race car. Of all the present cars, the C63 definitely has more of these elements than the rest but it falls far far short of justifying the term "rice car" to describe it.

Im stunned with this article!

MB says it won`t compete with BMW in the performance-catagory yet thay keep turning up the HEAT with these latest AMG models.

This is a fantastic article and should represent a slew of coming great articles of the C63, WOW!!!
