Of course I haven't seen the new C-Class in person yet, but in just looking at the photos is seems that the interior materials are much better than before. That should be a given, but the interior does have a lot of plastic on display which is going to get some rips from the U.S. press during the first round of tests. It seems like the car needs more wood inside or something, anything to lessen the effect of the huge plastic center console. Overall I'd say the C's launch isn't as authoritative as the S-Class' was almost 2 years ago. The interior could be better and the engines, dare I say are somewhat underpowered when judged against class standards. Though they're not underpowered in their own right, know what I mean? M | |
