But still, why did MB have to make them so big. Hopefully they won't turn the mirrors on their next cars into huge lamps.

Ok, seriously, I think it has something to do with EU safety regulations. Something about how a turn light on a car has to be visible in all conditions etc. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I don't follow up on these silly EU rules.

Because the actual mirror is so big (Apparently MB had to do this because of these EU regulations), MB had to make the turn lights big so the mirrors look smaller, if that makes any sense.

When I first looked at the spy shots, first thing I noticed was how big the mirrors were.

If you look closely though, I don't really think the whole turn light will flash orange. I think the "triangular" bit on top of the actual indicator is only there to make the mirror appear to be smaller.

Man I wish the interior shots were better. Wimmer, next time cover the camera so that there is not reflection of of anything surrouding the car and take the picture as steady as possible.

All I can say is....major improvement in the looks department! The prior C was really dated looking, nice job on the change to MB. The mirrors need some work.

I still dont like the rear and when I see it next to E46 its even more of a mess. Front is still the best.
