LOL..what a dumb thing.. who wants a wiper hanging around on thier bonnet..next to the badge..it just ruins the image..

But I bet Mercedes will come up with a better, simpler and more elegant version using popup water jets instead, and a badge version of Airscarf to dry it

And I thought hard water refers to chemical hardness, not physically in any way - it shouldn't scratch the badge any more or less than 'soft' water.
