Wow, In S'pore we take two years after secondary school to take our A Levels... So I'll be taking the exam only at the end of next year. I know the UK system does it only in a year. Sorry to bring this topic off, but just to squeeze a question, what subjects are you taking?

Great to know someone so close to my age.

Re: The first Bentley flying spur to arrive in Greece!

For GCSEs, we do it over two years, year 10 and 11, (aged 15-16) so I have been studying for these subjects for 2 years. Next year I do my ASs, which are half an A level, and the year after that complete my A levels!

The subjects I am taking for GCSE are English, English Literacy, Maths, Single Science, French, Geography, History and Design Technology (resistant materials). For my A levels I'm going to do Physics, Maths, Design Technolgy and Geography!

So you take your exams in December time? Here in the UK, the school year is from September to July and the exams happen at the end of the school year, so for me from May to June!

Same here, I feel a bit young compared to some of the people online here!

So Mirage77, are you doing GCSEs, or A levels at the moment, and what subjects?

I completed my GCSEs already, and I'm working for my A Levels now. There are no ASs for us, it's just two years of pure studying for the exam in November/December of 2007. And yup, the UK holds its exams in May/June.

For GCSEs (called O Levels in S'pore), I did English, Chinese, Additional Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Geography/SocialStudies combined!

For A Levels, I'm doing Literature, Economics, Geography and Mathematics, along with compulsory Project Work, Chinese Language and General Paper.

I became a Science major to an Arts major.

Sounds good, you must be pretty clever at Maths to do additional Maths!

You're lucky you don't have to do ASs, IMO they are a waste of time.
