Re: Bentley Continental Flying Spur: The Quickest Boulder in the Quarry

I trully hate this car... it's butt-ugly. You just can't add two doors to an amazing design and expect it to be good!

Ultimately, I can understand the attraction of the Bentley (once you're inside), even Mercedes' Designo or BMW's Individual interiors do not offer the same level of hand-made luxury.
Like he said.

Re: Bentley Continental Flying Spur: The Quickest Boulder in the Quarry

I guess it is impossible for me to pay that much money for a car and not be able to look at it as being beautiful just sitting in the driveway. I agree, nobody does interiors like Bentley or the VW Group in general, but this Flying Spur it just too unnappealing to the eye for me to like it any way.

It is amazing how popular they are though. The dealer here has them stacked up C-Classes.

Re: Bentley Continental Flying Spur: The Quickest Boulder in the Quarry

I understand that ....I agree that this car has got some serious proportion problems ...and I hate the shape of the rear windows and C pillar (just not Bentley DNA), but I do believe in giving credit where it is due ..and as you said Merc1, the interior is excellent.

Re: Bentley Continental Flying Spur: The Quickest Boulder in the Quarry

It certainly isn't beautiful, but in real life it looks rather imposing because it hangs rather low and together with its long wheelbase & length, this is one scary car indeed to be driving next to.

I'd have to give credits to the interior - however, ride isn't fantastic, and the low-end torque is barely felt - I'd never buy this Bentley.
