  | ***Museum Speyer Aircraft Pictures (Part I)*** Here are the airplanes from my trip to the Technik Museum in Speyer. If you're in Germany, near Speyer, do go here. It's quite an experience. I'm planning a trip to their sister museum in Sinsheim. Concorde and Tupolev Tu-144 anyone?  View of the Speyer Dom in the background.  This was an Airbus, for sure, but I am not quite certain which model. I didn't photograph the info plaque due to low battery warning (this was near the end of my trip to this place).    This was a real awesome plane. Antonov An-22. I could live in this thing.           An "Aeroflot" Antonov An-2, in better shape than the one in Guttenburg (in the HDR thread).    Rolls-Royce Merlin engine...    Douglas C-47 I believe...  Fiat G.90  Cimber  Parts of a Messerschmitt BF-110 that landed in Swedish territory in early 1945. The aircraft belonged to Zerstörergeschwader 76 stationed in Norway. It was abandoned by the crew on a frozen lake. When the ice thawed the plane sunk. In 1995 it was raised by the Museum Speyer.      From the same Messerschmitt BF-110 above, one of its Daimler-Benz DB603 V12 engines...         The cockpit section of a Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" fighter. I think I saw this same one in the Imperial War Museum in London. Inter-museum loan?  Blue Angels Phantom      Klemm Luftwaffe training aircraft in Spanish markings...  Junkers-Jumo 211 aircraft engine...   I think this is a Swiss-made aircraft. Pilatus or something. Am I even close?    No idea what this is...  Sukhoi Su-22    Fairey Gannet with German Bundesmarine markings...    MDD F-4 Phantom    MDD F-15 Eagle      MDD F-101 Voodoo     All of the hotties together...   Mi-2   Canadair CL-215    Orpheus 803 engine  P-80 Shooting Star   End of Part I. Part II coming up soon!  |

| Re: ***Museum Speyer Aircraft Pictures (Part I)*** Christian, that is not an Airbus at the top. I am not to sure, it may be a Russian plane, but it is definitely not an airbus. It reminds me of a Boeing 737 of which it is not. |
