Single-frame grille. Good or bad?

Since you BMWboys are having a Bangle/No-Bangle discussion, I thouhgt I would have something like this here.

Do you like the Audis with the new single-frame grille, or the generation before that?

The single frame is a hit..for all modells.. gives the cars more chercter..and diffrentiates them even more from VW´s

The new single frame. As I have mentioned in some other threads, Audi is definitely on a roll with having found a design direction that is a huge winner. I am really happy about them having soared to the very top and be equal partners in the circle of quality cars. In that circle three is definitely a crowd but a healthy, productive and functioning triumvirate.

hmmm..i wonder.the single-frame looks nice on the A8 A4 and A6 but not as good on the A3............with the power of numbers i pickk the new-gen.

I think the single frame grille is a good step as well. It allows Audi some aggression and a point of difference without turning the rest of their body style/design language away from their renowned elegance and sleekness.

That said, I don't like how it's so dominating on the A3; nor on the A6, where the height of the grille seems a bit much compared to the width. It makes the front look a bit weak, and that the front is somewhat bulbous doesn't help.

I prefer single frame. However on the A4 cabriolet I prefer the previous generation as its more smoothen in with the rest of the car.
