Pretty good! I believe in South Africa they are fitting some cars with flame-throwers and others with some sort of jack-knifing device that gets the car-jacker's knees.
Would be interesting to hear from one of the South African GermanCarZone members about the safety devices used there nowadays since my information may be a bit dated.

I wont be impressed until someone fits an automated gatlin gun in the trunk. Seriously, if Audi is going to offer this the least they could do is seamlessly integrate a cubby hole inside the door for the bat; much like the new Passat with the umbrella hole.

I also heard about the flame thrower although I'm not sure if that was in SA. I also heard about a car that can shock you. I think in the end, the best option is just to have bullet proof windows. Not as good as having the whole car bulletproof but it does bring you some comfort in knowing that you'll be protected from people that are trying to smash in your car at an intersection.

i know they have pepper spray that shoots out at an attacker when he is facing the driver side door. Good enough to deter anyone.
