![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | A question for the Audi boys A number of people have said that in the future Audi will have to design cars that are more distinguishable from each other. Most of the people with this point of view have been BMW or Mercedes fans. I would like to know what you Audi boys think? Isn't the design consistently of the model-range a hallmark and tradition of the marque? Would Audi be betraying it's core values if it started to produce vehicles that were radically different from each other? |

![]() | Re: A question for the Audi boys Some of the models that the current ones replaced were a little more unique, but not a lot more. I'm referring to comparing the B5 A4 platform with the C5 A6 platform and D2 A8. I'm fine with the way most of them are right now except for the bulbous front on many new German cars (as I've said before), but I just hope they get the new TT right because that's their distinctive model. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: A question for the Audi boys I think future designs will yield subtle but unique discrepancies between the designs of each model. The cars will all be tied together through the single frame radiator grill. This single element will allow Audi designers to toy w/ many new and fresh ideas for overall theme in appearence. |

![]() | Re: A question for the Audi boys i like audi to have conservative styling and i dont like too much of a difference for audi.....when the B8 a4 comes though....then i think the Audi styling will change towards the styling of the A4....if you get my point... ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: A question for the Audi boys The current lineup is favourable. What they have done with the A4's lights are strictly unique to only the A4 for all production models, and that's something Audi has done to differentiate the A4. I would like to see such subtle differences between the A6 & the A8 though, because these two models are basically about the same at the front. The TT will continue to become a niche model and it will be something very unique and radical, very un-Audi. The Q7 fits perfectly into the family. |
