AUDI: Sielaff new design boss

Stefan Sielaff will become a new design boss of the AUDI brand, a company circles confirmed.

Sielaff (43) who still works for Mercedes at the momment, and is responsible there for the interior design of the current Mercedes models.

Now Sielaff sets for a career jump - becoming a chief designer of the brand AUDI next year. In this function he will directly report to Walter de Silva (55), who is responsible for the Design of the entire Audi Group and since 1 December also for the Lamborghini design.

If the info is 100% true and Sielaff comes to Audi next year, nothing radical will change. De Silva will still be general design chief of Audi Group (identical to Bangle's position at BMW), supervising all design processes at Audi Group.

From 1990 to 2002 Sielaff was engaged in different positions at Audi AG design dept., last as a director of the Interior Design.

Btw, Steffan Sielaff will replace Gerhard Pfefferle in the position of design chief of Audi brand.

De Silva stays. So, nothing much will change in the Audi design direction.

I dont think there is anything wrong.. as far as design go i feel that MB has some really wonderfully designed interiors.. if not the best ..

Sorry, dude, but the W221 makes me sick, cause its not original.
And the best interior in known univers is on the Pagani Zonda. And even the Z8,
Veyron, or MINI Frankfurt Concept can't touch it.
