Audi Design Shuffle

Audi brand group design chief Walter de’Silva has taken over Lamborghini Design as Luc Donckerwolke leaves for another Audi division, the Spanish automaker SEAT. Donckerwolke, now head of SEAT design, has drawn all four current Lambo models, the Murcielago and Murcielago Roadster, Gallardo and Gallardo Spyder. For that, he’s been included in the 2006 Motor Trend Power List (look for it in the February issue, and online in January). The Audi move indicates that Lambo design, including a proposed new Espada, is locked in place for several years to come.

Doesn't sound that bad but I really don't want to see any Audi design elements on Lambo cars.

Luc Donckerwolke the previous Lambo designer had worked for Audi and VW before but that doesn't mean anything. Bangle used to work for FIAT before going to BMW and VW's head designer, Murat Guenak, used to work for Mercedes.

Well the interior of the Gallardo does remind me alot of the interior of the A3 and I won't be good for lamborghini if their cars shares to many Audi components like door handles, knobs and buttons.

Audi's knobs and buttons are the best in the automotive industry and better that the ones Ferrari for example is using.

I believe that this will be VERY good for Lambo. Looks how modern and great the Murcielago and Gallardo look now after Audi took over Lambo, compared to Diablo.

I dissagree, while Audi made Lamborghini cars more driveable and certainly more reliable, the price they payed was making them look drab especially the Murcielago.

BTW here is the best looking Lambo.
