Pretty creative and a great angle. Again, the edges could be smoother but seeing that you don't have Adobe Photoshop, I understand completely.

BTW, what does your sister think about your S550?

I do have PS CS2 Chris...this was a first attempt with the tutorial and done completely in PS. As I explained I don't have the steadiest hand and really have to remember to zoom in for any final smoothing.

My sister lives in SC and when I visited with her in May on that 5000 mile cross country trip she was absolutely mesmerized by the car. She could not believe how they could "eliminate all the bumps in the road" and not hear anything inside. She liked it...

Whoops my bad. Sorry to hear about that Jack. If it's any consolation, I suck at painting because my hands are always shaking. But when I draw or use Photoshop, they don't shake.

Glad to hear your sister loved the car. Everytime I see your S550 AMG...I drool.

Here's another one. I'm a bellhop boy helping out the lady with her luggage.

Re: The PHOTOSHOP Thread

Here Jack. Use the POLYGONAL LASSO TOOL. It will make removing edges much smoother.

Also, instead of removing the edges you cut out by pressing Ctrl + X, select the eraser tool and select a smooth brush (such as the encircled ones). Remove the edges you want and erase them using this setup. This will ensure that your edges are smooth and more linear. Also, you might want to smudge your lines a bit afterwards using a 10 pt brush size at 8-10% force.

Here you can see the differences between a smooth eraser (left) and a strong eraser (right).
