MB and long lens test...

I have a Canon EF 70-300mm IS zoom and bought a Tamron 1.4x extender to take it to an effective 420mm. Went out on the patio and with a small area between two palm trees shot some images at the full extension of 420mm. I could not pan so I prefocused on the street and clicked as the cars entered the frame. In the span of less than 5 minutes I caputred three MB's! Some cropping and PP but I am pleased with the results of the lens and extender. The firetruck doesn't have a three pointed star...

The quality is amazingly good! I really like the SL-photo. Well done!

Thanks ree. The focus was not spot on...had to manual focus with the viewfinder on a predetermined spot on a moving object and DOF with that long a FL is iffy at best. Cropping also hurts. I feel with proper focus on the subject, the images should really be great.
