He often talks about the erotic aspects of his sculptures ...and how his art is about humanity etc. He is an interesting character, almost like a salesman. Before he became a famous artist, he worked as a commodity broker on Wall Street -- and he has always been very aware of the commercial aspects of the art world. Koons is so hot right now. I suspect this Balloon Flower sculpture will make over $20,000,000 |
