Eagle vs. Fox

Some of you might have seen these images around the net, but I thought I'd make a thread here anyway. What you see is a red fox being chased away from a carcass by a golden eagle.

To me the pcitures look fake. The eagle looks a lot bigger than the fox and the 4th picture the eagle is just as big if not bigger than the fox. The way the eagle is holding the fox looks unrealistic.

P.S. look at the first picture. The carcass is infront of the eagle's feathers. Definatley fake. Some of the images the carcass looks a lot bigger and in some the fox and eagle does look a bit distorted.

You're not the first to suspect their authenticity... but they're real all right. The guy who took them is a reputable nature photographer.

yep ppl have been talking about the authenticity..
but i think they are real.. you know a bird like that has a wing span of over 2m
it ain't exactly a cage bird

Lol 1st time seeing pics of a golden eagle.I should have done my research 1st before just saying that. I thought they would just be twice the size of a pigeon or something.
