Saturn seeks to boost slow sales of Aura - April 2, 2007

Aura sales have been sluggish this year, leaving Saturn dealers with a 125-day supply as of March 1, according to the Automotive News Data Center. Dealers say Saturn executives have told them the sales goal for the Aura is about 90,000 units this year. But Saturn sold only 7,898 Auras in the first two months of the year."

GM included the Aura in its spring sales incentive program, an unusual move for a new product, dealers say. Sales of the Saturn Aura have been slow this year.

Just what GM needed.

Another Epsilon platform variant that turns out to be a sales flop. Cadillac BLS does it ring a bell?

This is very unimpressive, GM doesn't need cars like this at the moment, they need to find a solution!

Damn, what an ugly car, dont GM know only Toyota can produce an ugly car and still manage 2 sell a couple tonnes of it....!!!!!

This is actually a nice-looking car, especially for a Saturn (even though it is a rebadged Opel Astra, which is hot).

Funny. It's like when Saturn was producing dull econoboxes with no charm, people flocked to them to get one. Now, with such a sweet looking car like this, people are turned off. What a world...
