When I went to the tour in Malmö I called them at 16.00 the last day of the tour asking for how long they would be there etc, and they replied with saying that they were going to be there til 18.00 and the chance for me driving was very small. Of course she didn't know that I don't have a license but at least it proves that you don't really need an invitation. You'll get your opportunity Luw ![]() How did the S8 sound at high revs artist? |

![]() | Re: My time in the RS4 and S8 Thanks to TheArtist! It's interesting reading test drive opinions. It's especially interesting to read preferences related to smaller vs. larger cars. Personally, I'm firmly in the smaller saloon camp. I have a larger car - a Saab 9-5 and a smaller saloon - the RS 4. They both serve different roles for my family. If I could keep only one though, it would be the RS 4 - without a doubt. In fact, the larger size kept me from buying the last RS 6. Quote:
It's funny how some describe fun factor, as though drifting a car through the turns on the way to work is both commonplace, and reasonable. I won't argue that a drift can be "fun", and on a track or an empty parking lot, a lot of fun. But frankly, I prefer the stability afforded by the quattro system. It gives us mere mortals a little greater margin of safety and is still remarkably fun to drive. In fact, I'd submit that it's more fun than having the rear-end pass the front-end in a slippery corner. Doughnuts in a snowy parking lot is one thing, but spinning in a tree-lined twisty is quite another. Give me quattro, a series of twisties and a full tank of gas. I'm there! | |

I am also one of those who would like to play with the car whenever I want to. I at least want the possibility to be there. |
