Good to know that a former BMW engine engineer is doing a good job at Audis. BMW should have pay him better so he could have messed up the RS4 engine

Sorry just_me but the RS4 is not the work of ONE engineer. Hundrends of people have worked for this car.

There is obviosly a reason why audi hired them that they know one or two about highreeving cars and suspension. Audi wouldnt hire them if they werent usable and add valuable info and that BMW are now taking them back is a proove that they are really good, important and useful for a carcompany.

You have to love this quote:

However, what is this he says:

"Most buff books clock the RS4's 0-60 time at 4.6 seconds. That's stupid fast indeed, just ahead of its main competition"

How is it ahead? The M3 does 4.6 according to Car and Driver if I am not mistaken, and I thought the RS4 was doing 4.8 but I guess I am wrong.

OK this is just BS. Any stick car will do that. My Honda does that. Also, what does this have anything to do with a car that is powerful or not powerful. I don't see this as a contributing statement.


In the end I have said it over and over again. If I had the money I would buy this car in a heart beat over anything else out there. I wouldn't want the M5, because for now, it just to big. The M3...well the new one is not out yet. The M6, to much money. Quite frankly, this is the car to have IMO.

You are right, and so is Yannis.

I think the BMW engineer that Just Me mentioned does play a vital role, because like he said, why would they have hired him. However, you have to note that the S4 was not a forced induced engine, showing that Audi was swithing roles form a forced induced system, to a high reving engine. I think the RS4 is a further development of this idea, and truly, Audi has taken it upon themselves, maybe to both prove to themselves and to the world, that they can make a great high reving engine. I will never take away the fact that Audi has learned a thing or two for the future. They will keep up and will not lose in the race of car wars.
