So what if one or two engineers went from BMW to Audi? Bangle was in FIAT before going to BMW , does that mean that FIAT should be proud?

Re: The Truth About Cars: Audi RS4.

When a Ferrari F1 engineer went from Ferrari to Toyota stealing top secret papers at the same time i didn't saw Toyota becoming world champion. The difference is that Audi already had the potential to make great engines while Toyota didn't had the potential to be world champion.

Exchanges or engineers and designers happen all the time between German automakers even if we don't hear anything about them most of the time.

That's right, It's not the first time a company has employed engineers from another company. For instance, two Toyota engineers developed the water cooling system for the Porsche 996, it was their design which was carried into the 997.

Re: The Truth About Cars: Audi RS4.

Come on guys. The RS4 is made by Audi. Good for Audi that they used whatever resources they needed to make a great car. Whether they hired people from other brands is irrelevant, IMO.

The RS4 is arguably the best overall performing 4 door sedan today. It's also the newest, introduced when cars like the M3/C55 are in the twilight/end of their lifespan. Also, I still maintain that the RS4 is a big step above their S4, which historically has been Audi's response to cars like the M3 and C55 (especially from a pricing point of view......in Canada, the cost of an RS4 is about $20000 more than a E46 M3 and W203 C55).

I feel people are misunderstanding me, Im not saying BMW made the RS4, thats just wrong. Im just stating what the article said, I did not made this up or implying BMw created the RS4

Anyway, Have you tried the RS4 yet? I would love to hear your C55 vs RS4 review. Who knows, you might trade your C55 for a RS4

You are right when you say that historically the S4 has beenthe competitor for the M3 and C55. However, I am not to sure that is the case. I never quite understood why Audi didn't out do themselves with the S4 n competiting with the M3. If you look at the RS4, it looks as if that is the answer Audi has given to the C55 and the M3. The S4 seems more of the golfer's type of car.

I really hope that the M3 targets the Rs4, because it seems like it is. However, will this influence BMW to bump up the price on the M3? Who knows
