New diesel in the Audi A4

The biggest increase of amount sold diesel cars in Sweden this year, is the Audi A4. 1 of 4 Audi A4 registered in 2006 is a diesel.

Because of that, Audi now releases their new diesel engine. It's the 2.0 TDI that gets a pieze-injector and boosts a 170hp and 350nm. 0-100km/ goes in 8.5 seconds and the fuel economy is 0.67l/km.
It has a new VTG turbo and a new engine system. It has 4 vents per cylinder too.

Great!! But Audi also offers the 2,7 TDI with 180 hp!

Which one would you want to get?

Price difference: 2.100 €

228 km/h vs. 230 km/h

8,6 sec. vs. 8,4 sec

350 nm vs. 380 nm

5,8 l/100 km vs. 6,7 l/100 km

4 cylinder vs. V6 cylinder

I think I would buy the 170 hp - TDI! Well, a V6-Diesel is tempting...but you must pay 2.100 € more...

Just as an info on Diesel percentages:

In Germany (as I know) the A4 ist sold with almost 80% diesel engines!!

@this engine: I drove it in a VW Passat sedan and, as you guessed, it's great! It revs real well once you get past the turbo lag and has plenty of torque. Only thing is: the fuel economy is more close to 7l than to 6 (as someone told me after his first 300km in his new one)
